1. Having stayed at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth several times this winter, I can attest that the staff are doing a fantastic job of delivering the high quality guest experience that Fairmont is renowned for. Despite a lengthy union dispute which is visible from the entrances (due to signage and barricades), from the moment you walk through the doors the same high quality experience awaits you from the management team. The result, always a very enjoyable stay at the most centrally located hotel in Montreal.
2. Warm Hospitality Despite Limited Services – Thank You! My wife and I recently stayed at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth while attending Company's Conference — our first time visiting the city! While some amenities and services were limited due to a union strike, we still had a memorable and enjoyable stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and we were especially grateful for the manager on duty, who went above and beyond to guide us and make us feel welcome. Her support truly stood out during our stay. We did miss having access to the swimming pool and on-site dining, especially after arriving around 9 PM when most restaurants in the underground city were already closed. We had to venture out into the chilly evening to find food, which wasn’t ideal, but we understand the circumstances. That said, we could see the effort being made by the staff and management to maintain quality service during a challenging time. Thank you again to the team — especially the manager — for making our first trip to Montreal a memorable one.
3. Certainly one of the best hotel experience I've had so far. This hotel is old, but was clean and well maintained. We were there for a professionnal event, which was including a cocktail followed by a group dinner. Not only the food was exceptionnal, but the quality of the staff was memorable: each of them was kind, helpful and had a high degree of concern regarding the excellence of their service. You could feel each of them was authentic and was caring about making the difference for their guests. If you're concerned about a quality variation due to a work conflict (usual staff are on lock-out), that should not bother you at all. In fact, service might be even better than usual. Guys, thanks to everyone of you that were taking care of us that evening! I'll keep this one in my remains as one of the best I had!
4. Amazing stay even with limited access to amenities. Complimentary breakfast offered as compensation. Shout-out to Jonathan from housekeeping for this little touch in our room during the winter storm. A to go small bottle a lotion was a good idea for the dry season. Clean room, amazing staff & well located hotel.
5. Hôtel de la prestigieuse chaîne Fairmont qui allie les styles classiques et modernes avec ses récentes rénovations. L’hôtel possède un gym 24/7 et une piscine. Le bar est tenu par de réputés mixologues. À l’intérieur, il y a un marché avec de bons produits donc des locaux. L’hôtel est très bien situé.
6. Très bel hôtel avec un personnel très accueillant et à l'écoute. Le restaurant est très qualitatif, et l'emplacement est au cœur de Montreal ce qui est parfait pour se déplacer. Petit bemol pour les chambres un peu petites pour un hôtel de ce standing.
7. Excellent séjour au sein de votre hôtel ! Je tiens à remercier et féliciter Gilbert/Elijah et Pascal du service de la réception et Duchka du service des étages, qui ont su être très accueillant et merveilleux durant tout notre séjour. Leur hospitalité et gentillesse on rendu notre séjour mémorable et très agréable. Des petites attentions ont été mise en chambres durant tout le long de notre séjour. Je recommande fortement cette hotel et nous reviendrons ! 😆
8. Hôtel vieillissant, on le ressent dans le confort de la chambre. Pour moi bien trop cher vu le standing qu'il veulent proposer. Heureusement que le personnel est à votre écoute ce qui relève le niveau de l'hôtel. J'ai trouvé bien mieux et beaucoup moins cher.... Sinon bon emplacement mais ça ne fait pas tout... Très loin des standards européens où des 5 étoiles marocain
